In these new series, what’s fundamental and essential is colour and textures. Through digital techniques the compositions give shape to countless characters, situations, beings with a life of their own. The attitude and personality of each of them give free rein to the imagination of the ones who see and, perhaps, analyze them. Printed in large sizes, the scenes engulf you and get hold of you, if you let them carry you away you will find what you have been looking for and, maybe, longing for, you might be surprised by their strength, inhibition encountered in one’s eyes or in a swarm of characters intertwined with each other. In my images it’s all about colour and texture,  and  joining them  results in the appearance of an image with brute force, my characters exist and take positions, they get along and stare at you, they flaunt themselves proudly because they are made of matter  and colour, because they have been endowed with glow, light and attitude, they handle their attributes in a natural way because they have been born to shine.

 

 

 

En estas nuevas series de piezas únicas, lo fundamental y lo esencial es el color y la textura. A través de técnicas digitales, las composiciones van dando forma a un sinfín de personajes, de situaciones, de seres con vida propia. La actitud y personalidad de cada uno de ellos, da rienda suelta la imaginación de quien los aprecia y quizás analiza. Impresas en grandes dimensiones, las escenas te envuelven y atrapan, si te dejas llevar, encontrarás lo que no buscabas y quizás anhelabas, tal vez te sorprenda su fuerza, la inhibición hallada en una mirada o en un enjambre de personajes entrelazados unos con otros. En mis imágenes, el color y la textura lo son todo, al unirlos, aparece la imagen con fuerza bruta, mis personajes existen y toman posición, se desenvuelven y te clavan su mirada, se exhiben con orgullo, porque están hechos de materia y color, porque se les ha dotado de brillo, luz y actitud, manejan sus dotes de forma natural porque han nacido para brillar.
